With great disappointment, we have had to cancel the North East Regional Final of FLUX as 5 teams have dropped out. It is such a shame as the competition roots started in the North East in February 2005.

We have offered the two remaining North East teams - University of Sunderland and Teesside University a space in the Grand Final and the University of Sunderland have stepped up to represent the North East on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th March in Plymouth to compete against 9 other teams from throughout the UK.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in setting up the event and promoting.

You can register to be a student participant for the 2009 events on this website from April 2008.

University of Sunderland are off to the Grand Final. They are: Shirley Wood, Jan Spalek, Mahmoud Elsaid, Kanokporn Vongpradit, Tran Chau, and Simon Young.
