University of Sussex Students March on to Plymouth from the FLUX South East Regional Final!
The University of Sussex have won the South East event for the second year running! The team triumphed over very close competition from both the Oxford universities in the elevator pitch to take the prize of £500 cash.
Looking back on the day, Tracey Wells Assistant Director of the Oxford University Careers Service, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have hosted this event, bringing together students and the business community in such a hands-on and engaging way. FLUX is a great way of enabling students to better understand and engage with the strategic business planning process and to allow businesses to be so closely involved with the students in a practical, positive and exciting environment.”
Kristina Arsenievich from the University of Brighton said "I feel like I’ve been filled with light, it’s an uplifting and energetic feeling of achievement that I will never forget".
The winning team now progress to the Grand Final at Plymouth University on March 17th and 18th, where they will compete with the nine other regional winners for a cash prize of £3,000 and the prestigious 2008 National FLUX title. Click here for more information about the Grand Final.
